Some practical information for our residents and newcomers

Daily life at the student residence

University canteen

For lunch, the closest University canteen is in CentraleSupélec, 100 meters away from the Residence.

For dinner, you can go to the Technopôle’s University canteen which is on the other side of the lake, 5 minutes walking away from the Residence.

Opening hours can be consulted on the website of the CROUS

Go on the CROUS website >

Laundry

The residence is equipped with 8 washing machines and dryers, located in Buildings F and G. They are accessible to everyone.

Every month, you automatically receive 6 laundry tokens, which can be picked up at the reception. If you need more, they are sold for €2.50 each.

The IT network

You can access an internet connection by subscribing through the REZO association.

Mail

Each resident has a numbered mailbox where their mail is delivered daily. To facilitate sorting, it is essential to include your room number in your address.

For example: Mr. John Doe

4, Place Édouard Branly
57070 Metz

Packages are received at the reception, and the student is notified by email. If the package is heavy or bulky, please have it delivered to a pickup point or the post office as the residence won’t received it.

A post office is located 5 minutes from the residence.

Reporting an issue

In the mail room, there is a logbook where you can report any maintenance issues concerning the residence. These will be addressed as quickly as possible (an on-site employee is responsible for this).

You can also use the contact form to report any problems.
