1. Prepare your documents
Foreign documents are accepted only if attached with a French translation.
Mandatory documents to be provided upon registration request
Copy of the beneficiary's ID document
Accepted documents:
- French or European Union national identity card;
- French or foreign passport;
Proof of good payer
Accepted documents:
- Certificate of good payer from the current landlord of the student’s accommodation;
- The last three paid rent receipts from the last residence occupied by the student;
- Statement of honor from the person/parents hosting the student at their home.
Tax notice
Accepted documents:
- Personal tax notice;
- Tax notice of the person (parents/family) to whom the student was fiscally attached (dependent, officially declared) for the income tax of year N-1, established in year N (for example, 2023 tax notice established in 2024).
In certain countries:
- These are indicated on the last payslip of the year and listed under the names IR, IRG, IRGC…
- On the retirement notification;
- Certificate issued by the Ministry of Finance, tax office…
School certificate (or equivalent)
Accepted documents:
- School certificate;
- Proof of enrollment;
- Proof of acceptance into a school as a student (letter/email/Parcoursup) for the requested rental period.
Please note, we only accommodate students.
VISALE guarantee
- Submit a copy of the validated response of your VISALE application along with your reference number;
For foreign students who do not yet have their residence permit, the document must be provided no later than just before arrival. Please let us know the current stage of your visa process.
No VISALE is required for minors or individuals over 30 years old; please inform us accordingly.

Residence permit (or equivalent)
Accepted documents:
- Residence permit or document authorizing your stay in France for foreign students;
- Copy of the registration for the visa renewal application;
- Proof of visa application submission or appointment confirmation.
